Cambridge Roadkill

Hey there all, recently had to move in to my grandfather's house in Cambridge as my house is currently being eaten by termites. Bit of a boring place to be honest, lots of old people most of whom are weird.

The crux of the matter is that there's about 20 times the amount of roadkill as when I lived in Hamilton, I went on a drive last night around town and I counted 12 animals dead on the road after half an hour of driving.

Anyone in Cambridge that knows if this is normal? I can't tell if this is just my standard unluckiness, a freak in Cambridge, or maybe the elderly just love hitting possums lol.

Any particular pattern such as the type of animal? Were they clustered in one part of the journey or more evenly spread out? Was it solely in town or along the rural roads too? This sounds like it could be paranormal in nature but it's hard to make a judgment with so little detail.

I would never! I'm very careful with animals on the road I would never hurt them. And I am indeed seeing a therapist. Scheduling has been a bit of an issue as every time I schedule a session he's out in Venice or somewhere exotic. Lovely man.

Surprisingly even I think? It was really disturbing because I love animals and wanted to stop at each one to try save it but I got too afraid hahaha. They were everywhere rural town driveways the bridges. It's been worse since I posted this, every time I bring a passenger to show them there's not as much roadkill. Maybe a little bit above normal they always say but never always as much as I typically see, it's frustrating because they think I'm overreacting.
